Do NOT send paper or fax copies of your application material to the MAcc program office as it will cause delays in your application process. All transcripts and academic records uploaded to the online application are considered unofficial. You will only be asked to submit offical transcript or academic records if you are admitted.
Admission decisions are communicated to applicants through the online application system.
Admission is offered only for fall and spring semesters.
The Admission Committee reviews applications. A student’s academic record, letters of recommendation, and the interview with the program director are factors in the admission decision. After making a decision on an application, the Graduate School office notifies the applicant through the online application system. The entire review process takes about 4–6 weeks.
Your application process is complete when you have submitted the following items:
Submit electronically via the online application. More information about the application fee is found on the Graduate School's website.

Unofficial Transcripts
Transcripts or academic records must be uploaded directly to the ApplyYourself online application. International students should also upload an English translation if the transcript is not in English. Please do not send paper or fax copies of this material to the MAcc program office because it will cause delays in your application processing. Visit Uploading your Transcript for detailed instructions.
If you have been previously enrolled at the University of Minnesota (any campus), you can get electronic copies of your transcripts from One Stop student services.
Official Transcripts
All transcripts and academic records uploaded to the online application are considered unofficial. You will only be asked to submit official transcripts or academic records if you are admitted. These must be submitted before you register and enroll at the University of Minnesota. If you have attended universities that issue official transcripts on request, you must have these materials sent to the Graduate School Admissions Office directly from the institution. An official, certified (signature and seal) English translation should be attached if the transcript is not in English.
The University of Minnesota reserves the right to require the submission of official transcripts or credentials any time during the admission review process.
The Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) is generally required when applying to the MAcc program. Students who have been admitted to and complete their undergraduate degree at the Carlson School are not required to submit a GMAT score with their application.
