John Blix is a 2014 BSB candidate majoring in Finance. He is currently an intern at Merrill Lynch Private Banking & Investments Group and will be working as an Investment Banking Intern at RBC Capital Markets this summer. John hopes to find a full-time position in investment banking upon graduation.
Jordan Cockeram is an undergraduate student at the Carlson School of Management pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business in finance. He spent last May through December working as an intern at Piper Jaffray. Jordan has enjoyed exploring many different options in the financial world, and is interested in pursuing a career in Institutional Sales, Equity Research or Investment Banking.
Tyler is a 2014 BSB candidate majoring in Finance and Accounting. He has previous experience working on year end audit preparation for The Management Group Inc., a health and long-term care consulting company. Tyler currently works in the Carlson Finance Department as a TA and for Housing and Residential Life as an Office Assistant. He will be further building on his financial knowledge this summer while working as a financial analyst at Ecolab.
Yanling Jin is a 2014 BSB candidate pursuing a dual major in Finance and Accounting with a minor in Mathematics. Yanling will intern as a financial analyst at Cummins, Inc. in the upcoming summer. She currently works in the Carlson Finance Department as a TA. Previously, she had an accounting intern in Evergrande Real Estate group and she has also worked as a trader at a local foreign exchange broker. She is interested in pursuing a career in financial services.
Nathaniel is a 2014 BSB candidate majoring in Finance. Last summer, he interned with PwC in their San Jose, California office. He also has previous work experience with the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. Nathaniel wants to apply his curiosity for the financial markets and desire for continual learning to a career in Sales & Trading or Investment Banking.
Sam is a 2014 BSB candidate majoring in finance. He is currently an Equity Research Intern at Piper Jaffray, working in the Technology & Marketing Services and Diversified Financial Services & Technology research groups. Sam has also worked at Foster Klima, a personal finance firm, and Alliant Techsystems (ATK), where he was in the corporate finance department.
Alex is a 2014 BSB Honors candidate pursuing a major in Finance & Risk Management Insurance. He currently works as an Honors Research Assistant at the Carlson School of Management, and worked this past summer as a finance intern within the Internal Audit department at Datacard Group in Minnetonka. Alex will intern this coming summer with Deloitte & Touche's Advisory Practice in Minneapolis.
Ken Lam is a BSB Candidate (2014) pursuing a major in Finance and a minor in Economics and Statistics. Ken Lam is searching for an internship in the field of investment and corporate finance. He currently serves as the President of the Singaporean Student Association and is looking forward to further developing his analytical skills and financial acumen while working with Funds Enterprise. Ken Lam is the recipient of a scholarship from a Malaysian company, which requires him to maintain a strict GPA of 3.75 each semester.
Yang is a 2014 BSB candidate pursuing a duel degree in finance from Carlson School of Management and economics from College of Liberal Arts. She has previous working experience in international business and marketing and will be interning at Deloitte Consulting this summer. Yang is interested in pursuing a career in investment banking or consulting upon graduation where she can utilize analytical and communication skills.
Ruoxu (Rosh) is a 2014 BSB candidate pursuing a dual degree in finance and accounting from Carlson School of Management and psychology from College of Liberal Arts. Rosh interned with HSBC in Guangzhou, China last summer and is interested in pursuing a career in investment industry upon graduation.
Victor is pursuing a dual degree in Finance from Carlson School of Management and Mathematics from College of Science and Engineering. He is currently works in the Mathematics Department as a TA for a graduate level financial mathematics course. He is also gaining experience working as an Intern at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. Victor wants to apply his strong analytical skills to pursue a career in finance.
Jack is a 2014 BSB candidate majoring in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management and minoring in Accounting. His previous work experience includes working in a financial position for the College of Education and Human Development, as well as an internship with the Saint Paul Saints Baseball Club. He would like to translate his enthusiasm for both finance and entrepreneurship into a career in the private equity field.
Zhongrun (Sammy) is a 2014 BSB candidate majoring in finance and mathematics. He has previous work experience as an intern in Energy group at Credit-Suisse Hong Kong. Upon graduation, Zhongrun wants to find a job where he can apply his quantitative analysis and strategy skills.
