The Carlson School of Management's 1st Tuesday Speaker Series began in August 1992 to provide an opportunity for alumni and friends of the Carlson School to continue their management education. The 1st Tuesday Speaker Series features top-notch executives as keynote speakers addressing hot topics in business and leadership.

Held on the first Tuesday of every month at the McNamara Alumni Center, the program attracts alumni and business leaders from throughout the corporate community, and has become an attractive spot for people in the metropolitan area to network.

Registration and networking begins at 11:30 a.m.
Lunch will be served at 11:50 a.m.
The program concludes at 1:00 p.m.

Before joining the Bush Foundation as president in September 2012, Reedy was the chief of staff and vice president of strategy for Minnesota Philanthropy Partners (MN Partners), a network of organizations including The Saint Paul Foundation, Minnesota Community Foundation, F.R. Bigelow Foundation and the Mardag Foundation.

In her four years at MN Partners, she guided several innovative new ventures, including GiveMN.org, an online, state-of-the-art giving portal that is transforming giving in Minnesota. Another major venture is the Minnesota Idea Open, an idea platform created in partnership with Ashoka Changemakers. The Idea Open is designed to get as many Minnesotans as possible thinking and talking about solutions to critical issues facing the state.

Prior to joining MN Partners, Reedy was a consultant with McKinsey and Company and directed the Itasca Project, a CEO-led regional economic development initiative in the Twin Cities. In that capacity, she helped to create and manage community initiatives on topics ranging from early childhood education to transportation infrastructure.
