Gurneeta Vasudeva is an assistant professor in the strategic management and organization department at the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota. Her research interests include knowledge transfers in inter-organizational alliances and networks, innovation and technology management, and the role of national institutions in shaping firms’ inter-organizational strategies. Her research has been published in the Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science and Research Policy. Gurneeta serves on the editorial review board of the Global Strategy Journal, and as an ad-hoc reviewer for a number of management journals. Gurneeta’s doctoral thesis received the best dissertation awards from the Academy of Management and the Academy of International Business. She has received multiple research grants including one from the National Science Foundation to work as a visiting researcher at the International Institute of Applied Systems Anaylsis in Austria, and two Grant-in-Aid awards from the University of Minnesota. Prior to joining the academia Gurneeta worked as an international development specialist and energy policy analyst in Washington D.C., U.S.A. and New Delhi, India.
