Holly Littlefield has a PhD in English with an emphasis in composition and literacy studies. She has taught business and international communications at the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota for the past twelve years in both the undergraduate and MBA programs.  Before that she taught composition and professional writing for the University’s English department and worked as a student teacher supervisor.  She has worked as an editor, a columnist, and a communications consultant for area businesses and organizations such as Carlson Companies, Target Corporation, Cima Labs, and Guidant.  She has also published seven children’s books.
