Regional Faculty
CIBER provides professional development opportunities for instructors across the region:
- PDIB Scandinavia-Sustainability and CSR. A 12-day program designed to showcase sustainability and corporate social responsibility (CSR) practices in Denmark and Sweden.
- Faculty and Professional Development in International Business programs available through the CIBER network
- Professional Development Program in Short-Term Education Abroad - China. Sponsorship available for a regional faculty member to participate in a Carlson School short-term education abroad program in China. Course is a global business practicum at the MBA level.
- Program dates: May 26 - June 8, 2013

- Professional Development Program in Short-Term Education Abroad - Austria and Russia. Sponsorship available for a regional faculty member to participate in a Carlson School short-term education abroad program in Austria and Russia. Course is a global business practicum at the MBA level.

- 15th Annual CIBER Business Language Conference presents "The Business of Language: Educating the Next Generation of Global Professionals". Hosted by Indiana University, April 4-6, 2013.
- Professional Development in International Business for Community College Faculty. Sponsorship available to attend the 10th Biennial International Business Institute for Community College Faculty. Institute held at Michigan State University, East Lansing, Michigan.

CIBER Consortium for Business Language Research and Teaching (BLRT)
Organized by the University of Illinois CIBER, the BLRT Awards encourage faculty, lecturers, and graduate students in foreign language departments to add a business-language dimension to their research and teaching.
