"There simply is no better place on the planet to learn about effective sustainability and CSR than Scandinavia. I first came to Scandinavia in 2005 as a U.S. Fulbright Scholar and was amazed at the progressive practices I saw. In the time since then I have worked to bring U.S. practitioners, academics, and students to Scandinavia to explore these topics first hand. If you are looking to explore the concepts related to "Creating Shared Value" (Porter & Kramer, 2011), "Stakeholder Engagement" (Freeman et al., 2010), and the formation of innovative partnerships that cross the traditional lines of industry, government, and NGO to tackle social and environmental challenges- Scandinavia is the place to do it." -Robert Strand
